DAY 1 - DAY 1 : New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Gangtok (130 km/4 hrs drive)

As soon as you arrive at the NJP or IXB, you will find our representative waiting for you to take on your journey to the wonderland. He will help you with the transfer to Gangtok, a city that gives you a taste of both historicity and adventure. Walking hand in hand in the valleys of Gangtok, I believe would be one of those moments when it will be just you two, away from the world, in your own magical world. It is a town in which no matter where you go Orchids, Butterflies, and Rhododendrons will follow the lovebirds. Situated at the height of 5480 feet, Gangtok is 4-5 hours drive away from both the railway station and the airport. Check in at your hotel after you arrive in Gangtok. Rest for some time and later leave for MG Road or other local shopping spots in the evening. Get for yourself some souvenirs to make this honeymoon more memorable.

DAY 2 - DAY 3 : Gangtok – Lachen (About 125 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Today we’ll be leaving Gangtok for Lachen which is around 5-6 hours drive away from the capital city of Sikkim. Check all your belongings carefully, have your breakfast and start your drive to Lachen. After covering 96 kilometres, you will reach Chungthang. Take a halt and have your lunch here. Post hogging on the tasteful food; resume your journey to Lachen. The snow-capped peaks, Chopta Valley, Gurudongmar Lake, and untouched flora and fauna of Lachen will add seven stars to your honeymoon. The enchanting beauty of the place will leave you with no suitable words to define it. As soon as you reach Lachen, check in at the hotel. Have your welcome tea, take some rest and afterwards visit Lepcha Village, a tiny hamlet perfect for evening walks. Spend some time full of romance and never-ending talks while you walk through the little streets of Lachen. Get back to your hotel, have your dinner, and call it a day.

DAY 3 - DAY 4 : Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake – Chopta Valley Excursion – Lachung

As the sun comes out and shines brighter, wake up, have your breakfast, and make a move towards the Gurudongmar Lake which is 2-3 hours away from Lachen. One of the highest altitude lakes, this lake is nearest to Tibet border. With snowy mountains in the background, this lake freezes when the winters knock in between December and April. Except for these months, the lake breathes a fresh air with colourful flora around it in summers. The lake is also considered holy by the Hindus, Buddhists, and Sikhs. It is said to be blessed with the child granting power to the issueless couples. After you are done with Gurudongmar Lake head back to your hotel for lunch. Now it’s time to leave Lachen and visit Lachung. Pack your bags, and you are all set for your next location on your way to Lachung which is the Chopta Valley. Settled in an incredibly calm and composed environment this place is best to sit for hours and do nothing but chat with each other as you watch the majestic hill views and valleys intersecting with one another. Chopta is famous for trekking activities. Without the hustle bustle, it is a tourist spot for people who wish to travel with the least crowd possible. And what better place than this could be for a honeymoon couple? Up next is Thangu, the most picturesque location in the Northern Sikkim. As it is located on a high altitude, most of the times you would find it under the snow cover. Flanked by the river Teesta and alpine meadows, it indeed is a heavenly place to be at. You are to get some amazing couple shots in Thangu. Finally, after a day full of exploring and long drives, you will reach Lachung. Check in at the hotel. Rest for some time, have some food, gather some energy and leave for one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim, the Lachung Monastery. Spend some time here and garner all the positivity pointed at you in the monastery. Post your visit to the spiritual place, return to your hotel and spend your night here in Lachung.

DAY 4 - DAY 5 : Lachung – Yumthang Excursion – Gangtok

This is the last day of your trip. And to make it unforgettable, we have great things planned for you. After having your breakfast, drive to the Yumthang valley which is also known as the Sikkim Valley of Flowers. It is a nature ‘s sanctuary with yaks gazing, flowers blooming, rivers flowing, and pastures dancing. The valley also has hot springs which have curative properties. Settled near the river Lachung Chu, the valley boasts of multiple colours during the springtime. The snow clad mountains during the winters add more to its ethereal beauty. Now as you are done treating your eyes with the heavenly vision, move back to your hotel for lunch. Before leaving for the mid-day meal, you can also take an optional tour to Zero Point near Yumthang valley. Located at an elevation of almost 15,000 feet the site is of pristine beauty. The Zero point package is available at extra charges. Post lunch, pack your bags and bid goodbye to the mesmerising place. Now, leave for Gangtok.
