lakes to Kangchenjunga- thirst highest mountains in the world, age-old Buddhist monasteries, Sikkim has a lot to offer to

Equally fascinating is the capital of Sikkim, Gangtok which comes with its own old-world charm and attractions. It is a
base for some amazing treks and a great place to capture views of snow-capped peaks of Kangchenjunga. Pelling is
another gem of Sikkim gifted with plenty of natural beauty. Lachung, a mountain village of Sikkim boasts of scenic
landscape, Buddhist monasteries, apple orchards, pine forests, hot springs, and waterfalls.
Darjeeling, the Queen of Hills is located in the West Bengal state of India. This Victorian town is a famous hill station of
India known for its snow-capped mountains, picturesque landscapes, Buddhist monasteries, tea gardens and backdrop of
Mt. Kanchenjunga. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train is one of its major attractions.
DAY 1 - DAY 1 : New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Gangtok (130 km/4 hrs drive)
As soon as you arrive at the NJP or IXB, you will find our representative waiting for you to take on your journey to the wonderland. He will help you with the transfer to Gangtok, a city that gives you a taste of both historicity and adventure. Walking hand in hand in the valleys of Gangtok, I believe would be one of those moments when it will be just you two, away from the world, in your own magical world. It is a town in which no matter where you go Orchids, Butterflies, and Rhododendrons will follow the lovebirds. Situated at the height of 5480 feet, Gangtok is 4-5 hours drive away from both the railway station and the airport. Check in at your hotel after you arrive in Gangtok. Rest for some time and later leave for MG Road or other local shopping spots in the evening. Get for yourself some souvenirs to make this honeymoon more memorable.
DAY 2 - DAY 2 : Gangtok (Tsomgo Lake Excursion and Baba Mandir)
Today is the day when your sweetness of love gets blended with some bold motifs. Have your breakfast and get ready for the Tsomgo Lake excursion. On your 40 km drive to Tsomgo, you will be accompanied by the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary which houses the red panda and the blood pheasant. Besides these, you will find alpine trees and Rhododendron beautifying the roads that lead you to your final destination. It will take 2 hours for you to reach the lake. The moment you arrive the 50 feet deep lake, get your camera out because its time to capture some fantastic moments. Make this honeymoon all the more romantic by clicking a few pictures that would remind you about your true love in the coming future. Sit beside the lake for some time. Sink in the freshness of the air. If you are lucky enough, you might also find Brahmini ducks and many migratory birds flying over and around the lake. Near to the lake is Baba Mandir which also is your second attraction of the day. The shrine is a memorial for the late 22 years Sepoy who counted his last breathe while he was saving mules. The soldiers who are posted in the nearby areas believe that his soul protects them by warning them about the upcoming danger. Seek his blessings so that your relation gets stronger in the coming years. We also have an optional tour of Nathu La pass which can be taken at extra charges after covering the above-mentioned tourist places. This pass used to serve as the Silk Route in the bygone days. Special permits are required to enter this area. If you do not wish to take this exclusive tour head back to the hotel post visiting the Baba Harbhajan Mandir. The evening is free to roam. Go strolling the cultural streets of Gangtok. Have a romantic dinner and return to the hotel.
DAY 3 - DAY 3 : Gangtok – Lachung(116 km/6 hrs drive)
Post breakfast, drive to Lachung (8800 ft), a mesmerizing mountain village hemmed in by snow-capped mountain peaks. It is famous for its lovely waterfalls, glistening streams, and apricot, peach and apple orchids. The Lachung Chu river passes through the middle of the village slicing it into two. En-route halt at Singhik View Point to capture amazing views of mount Silnoulchu and the fierce Seven Sisters Waterfall which offers awe-inspiring views. Take a break for lunch at Namok and later a tea break at Chungthang. After reaching Lachung check in to the hotel. Freshen up and relax. You can also explore Lachung Gompa which dates back to 1880 and is set amidst apple orchard. You can also visit the handicraft center to buy beautifully woven blankets and rugs as souvenirs. Enjoy a delicious dinner which will be served at the hotel itself. Stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4 - DAY 4 : Lachung – Yumthang Valley(24 km/1 hr drive) – Lachung
Yumthang Valley that stands for ‘The Valley of Flowers’ is your destination for today. After head-starting your day with a toothsome breakfast meal, check out from the hotel and drive to reach 11,800 feet above sea level to this valley. You may visit the famous hot spring that is popular owing to its curative properties for skin diseases. Having basked in the valley’s beauty, leave for Gangtok. On your way, cover a few sightseeing spots. Singhik and Mangan These are two scenic towns you will cross on your way to Gangtok. If the weather is suitable and the sky is clear, you can enjoy the stunning views of Himalayan ranges. You may catch glimpses of the peaks of Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Simvo, Kabru, Jopuno and Mt. Siniolchu. Optional Tour to Zero Point / Additional Charges / Special Permit An optional tour to the Zero Point can be arranged for on request. Set at an altitude of 15,300 feet, it is the last outpost of civilization. The international border of China lies a few meters ahead and hence civilians are restricted to go any further. On arrival in Gangtok, check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own will.
DAY 5 - DAY 5 : Gangtok – Darjeeling (4 Hour Drive/110 KM)
After breakfast, start your journey to Darjeeling, the Queen of Hills. Once you reach Darjeeling, our representative will assist you to check in at the hotel at Darjeeling. Overnight stay at the hotel. Note: Toy Train can be done on the same day at an additional cost.
DAY 6 - DAY 6 : Full day Local Sightseeing in Darjeeling
Tiger Hill Start your day early as today you will drive to the Tiger Hill at 4 a.m. After reaching at a height of 2590 meters, you will witness the most spectacular sunrise and the sun’s rays will fill the dark sky and levitate over the third highest peak in the world, Mt. Kanchenjunga. Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop As you make your way back down, make a quick visit to the Ghoom Monastery and enjoy the scenic views of the Batasia Loop. The unparalleled natural beauty amidst which the monastery is nestled is a wonderful sight to behold. The Batasia Loop is unarguably one of the most picturesque train routes in all of Darjeeling. On arriving at the hotel, gulp a healthy breakfast and head out for some more sightseeing. Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Its aim is to promote and encourage mountaineering amongst the youth of the country. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park Also, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday). It is home to an array of species and Himalayan animals. Tenzing Rock Then, head to the Tenzing Rock, which is a very famous rock-climbing site among people who love to, seek adventure. Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda On your way to the Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda, enjoy an outer view of the Chitrey Tea Garden, which is the home ground for Darjeeling’s aromatic tea. Feel the divine peace at the temple and pagoda and catch the panoramic views of the landscape and Kanchenjunga range from the top of the pagoda. Chowrasta and Mall Road Then, go to Chowrasta and Mall Road for an evening stroll. Both these are well-known market areas and you can shop for items made from bamboo and cane, pottery stuff, hand-stitched jackets and woven shawls etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 7 - DAY 7 : Darjeeling – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) (88 km/3 hrs drive)
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and our representative will drive you back to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Darjeeling with pleasurable memories to take back home! Your tour ends today! See you again on the next tour!
